Dior Unveils 'Gold House' Concept Store in Bangkok
French luxury label Dior has unveiled 'Gold House', a temporary concept store in Bangkok. Inspired by the brand's historic Avenue Montaigne flagship façade, the concept store, designed by nine Thai artists, houses a 'Café Dior' featuring desserts by three Michelin-starred chef Mauro Colagreco. The opening was attended by affluent Thai figures, led by Dior Thai brand ambassador Jisoo. A major attraction of the store is the Colorama room, showcasing a panoramic display of 198 Lady Dior bags, including sculptures and actual handbags.

Chanel Names Matthieu Blazy as New Artistic Director
Chanel has appointed Matthieu Blazy, Bottega Veneta's former creative director, as its new artistic director. Blazy will assume the role in April 2025, succeeding Virginie Viard, who stepped down from the position in June 2024. Blazy brings a wealth of experience from his roles at various fashion houses including Margiela, Celine, and Calvin Klein. He is known for innovative designs that emphasize traditional craftsmanship and a mix of cultural references. Blazy often takes inspiration from everyday clothing like jeans and uses techniques like trompe-l’œil to create unique pieces. His first collection for Chanel is scheduled for September 2025.

Harvey Nichols Appoints New Chief Merchant
