Richemont Appoints Louis Ferla as Cartier CEO
Starting September 1st, Louis Ferla, current CEO of Vacheron Constantin, will become the new CEO of Richemont-owned Cartier. Announcing his retirement after eight years of dedicated service to the Maison, Cyrille Vigneron who is Cartier's current CEO, will assume the position of Chairman of Cartier Culture and Philanthropy. Ferla joined Richemont in 2001, beginning at Alfred Dunhill. He joined Cartier in 2006, holding various senior executive roles across the Middle East, India, and Africa before becoming CEO in China. In 2015, he was promoted to Cartier's executive committee as International Director Clients & Business. Since 2017, Ferla has served as the CEO of Vacheron Constantin.

L'Oréal Partners with Debut to Develop Bio-Identical Ingredients
French beauty group L’Oréal has announced a groundbreaking partnership with biotech company Debut. This collaboration aims to create essential bio-identical ingredients for use across all L'Oréal Beauty product categories. The joint effort aligns with L'Oréal's sustainability commitments. It ensures a balance between responsibly sourced ingredients and maintaining the high quality of their products. Debut will utilize its expertise and its unique biotechnology processes to develop disruptive, bio-based ingredients to be used in L’Oreal’s global beauty and personal care brands, such as skin, hair, fragrance and color cosmetics.

Richemont Appoints Catherine Rénier as New CEO for Van Cleef & Arpels
Effective September 1st, 2024, Catherine Rénier, current CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre, will succeed Nicolas Bos as CEO of Van Cleef & Arpels and will report to him following his recent appointment as Richemont’s CEO. Rénier joined the Group in 1999 as Retail Development Director for Cartier North America. She moved across the globe with Van Cleef & Arpels as Deputy Marketing Manager before eventually joining Jaeger-LeCoultre in 2018 as CEO.

Maserati Unveils New Wine-Inspired GranCabrio Folgore
To honor Italian excellence, Maserati, the renowned luxury car manufacturer, has partnered with Marchesi Antinori, the esteemed vintner behind the iconic Tignanello wine, to introduce a unique and exclusive model: the GranCabrio Folgore Tignanello. The bespoke fully electric convertible vehicle, exclusively created for Marchesi Anitori, will be heading to auction on July 14th, 2024, at the Arts for All Gala in Napa Valley, California. Inspired by the Tuscan vineyards, meticulous attention has been paid to both the exterior and interior, featuring a palette of burgundy and chestnut. Proceeds from the sale will benefit a charitable cause.
